Raspberry Pi Arduino IDE no boardmanager

Raspberry Pi Arduino IDE no boardmanager
and preferences menu missing things

The version installed with apt get or menu->preferences->add/remove software
is not a full version
the arduino ide provided by raspberry s*x ;-(
Why?, it took me an hour to figure it out

you have to download a full version

download the tar file linux arm (for raspberry in my case)
____arduino-1.8.8-linuxarm.tar.xz in my case
unpack the file/directory
____i unpacked it to /home/pi/arduino-1.8.8 run arduino in that directory
____Wow, thats Easy to install for a linux thing

not sure what
maybe you have to execute them

now you have a full arduino ide version with board manager and more preferences

this new arduino ide is much better

hmmm, ATtiny85 digistump install board
preferences http://digistump.com/package_digistump_index.json
board manager

// This program (or code that looks like it)
// can be found in many places.
// For example on the Arduino.cc forum.
// The original author is not know.
// Version 2, Juni 2012, Using Arduino 1.0.1
// Adapted to be as simple as possible by Arduino.cc user Krodal

// A sensor seems to use address 120.
// Version 6, November 27, 2015.
// Added waiting for the Leonardo serial communication.
// This sketch tests the standard 7-bit addresses
// Devices with higher bit address might not be seen properly.
